Hi, I’m Christine Faison, a Registered Nurse with over 21 years of nursing experience. Throughout my career, I’ve also had the opportunity to serve as a charge nurse, preceptor, and mentor.
I founded Your New Nurse Mentor because I continue to see new nurses struggling with confidence, second-guessing themselves, and feeling overwhelmed as they transition from the classroom to the patient’s room. Many of these challenges may not be addressed in nursing school or orientation, and sometimes new nurses simply need an experienced nurse to talk to who understands their journey.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I created a practical pocket guide to help new nurses navigate the challenges from nursing school to nursing practice.
Are you struggling with the transition from nursing school to working as a nurse? Feeling overwhelmed, second-guessing yourself, or having difficulty adjusting to your new role?
With over 21 years of nursing experience, I understand the challenges new nurses face.
During our 30-minute virtual mentoring sessions, I provide personalized support, practical advice, encouragement, and guidance to help you navigate real-world nursing challenges.
Whether you're struggling with time management, communication, difficult coworkers, workplace expectations, or building confidence, we can talk through what's holding you back and identify practical steps to help you move forward.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, prepared, and supported as you transition from the classroom to the patient's room.
Your 1:1 mentoring sessions are for educational, professional, and personal support purposes only.
